Organized Cars Start with THESE Products!

Updated: Sep 14, 2021

It's Spring. Spring means cleaning. & just when you think you've cleaned everything, it dawns on you. Your car is an absolute pig sty..

Well at least this is true for myself. I have kids. & I'm not always trying to keep up on the backseat when it's so cold outside that it hurts my face. [I live in Michigan, & sometimes I feel like we live in Alaska.. but that's another story.] It's time to deep clean & then create a system in the car that's going to HELP keep the car clean & organized.

THIS POST CONTAINS AFFILIATE LINKS WHICH MEANS IF YOU WERE TO CLICK A LINK AND PURCHASE THE PRODUCT I MAY RECEIVE COMMISSION OR CREDIT FOR YOUR PURCHASE AT NO EXTRA COST TO YOU. BY DOING THIS, YOU HELP SUPPORT MY FAMILY. TO READ MORE ON AFFILIATE LINK DISCLOSURES, CLICK HERE.

1.Trunk Organizer

Everyone must have a trunk organizer. I repeat. Everyone MUST have a trunk organizer. Even if it isn't advertised for your car or you just use a laundry basket. Your trunk NEEDS to have some sort of system that you can have for specific scenarios. Being constantly on the go you run into situations in the real world and I'm one who must always be prepared for the worst. Things you'd keep in your trunk organizer include but are most definitely not limited to things such as, extra clothes for the littles, a blanket for picnics or chilly rides, emergency medical kit for those spontaneous ouchies, snack pouches for those hangry moments, extra clothes for YOU, shoot, I know I'm not the only one who spills coffee on the regular. But you see my point, having an organizer to hold those emergency items will keep you prepared but all while staying organized.

2.Phone Mount

I don't necessarily think it's smart to have your phone within reach while driving as I do not support texting and driving. BUT, at times you need to have your GPS on or you HAVE to take a call and put it on speaker while still having two hands on the wheel, I think it's important to have a good quality phone mount. It's helpful in those situation where it's necessary to use your phone while driving.

3.Air Freshers

Any other Mamas out there who HAVE to have air fresheners in their car otherwise you start to get some foul off the wall smell coming from the backseat? It can't be just me. I swear, I have no idea what my kids do while I'm driving, but they sure do know how to destroy all of my joy of a clean car. HAH. It really be like that sometimes. Air fresheners will get you some time in between having to actually have to shampoo your seats and floors *face palm*

4.Backseat Organizer

These backseat organizers are literally a savior for me. I have two of these & have designated one for each kiddo. We bring our tablets in the car sometimes & it's nice to be able to have an area to keep that along with any toys/books the kids want to drag along. Face wipes, napkins, sunglasses all live in these compartments. But like I said, I think this is a really good system to be able to give each kid an area for THEIR stuff. It prevents a lot of arguing in our car during drive time.

5.Carseat Organizer

This is another really helpful product that sits in my front seat if I don't have a passenger. I'm able to throw my purse, my water bottle, any additional things that I needed to bring along with me right in there! If I DO have a passenger, I just throw it in between the kiddos in the backseat.

6.Wallet Sized File Organizer

I have a small file folder for my registration, proof of insurance, car wash receipts, car part receipts, gas receipts, etc. Just a helpful place to keep all the important paperwork tucked away and organized.

7.Emergency Car Kit

We've all been there. Car troubles. My kiddos are notorious for leaving my car lights on and I just never catch them being left on and sure as heck, dead battery in the AM. It's extremely helpful to be able to jump your car all by yourself and this car jump starter kit is AWESOME. It not only has jumper cables but it also is an air compressor and has outlets to charge your electronics. SUPER cool.

8.Blanket

Last but not least, a blankey. It's pretty self explanatory on why you would need a blanket. We have one specific for our vehicles and it stays in the car unless we get it dirty during an outing and have to wash it, but otherwise, it goes right back into the car. It's a car blanket!

Well friends, that's all I have for today.

I hope this has inspired you to get going on your car organization!
